We’re proud to share that Slingshot Aerospace, a Sway Ventures portfolio company, has been awarded a $3.57 million, 12-month contract by the Office of Space Commerce (OSC) to serve as the Primary Data Provider for the COLA Gap Pathfinder—a critical component of the U.S. government's TraCSS civil space traffic coordination initiative.
Leveraging its 200+ node Global Sensor Network and proprietary MFAST software, Slingshot will deliver near-real-time launch custody and object tracking data, even for non-cooperative launches. This work positions Slingshot at the forefront of orbital safety, anchoring its role across the full space traffic data lifecycle—from raw detection to operational decision-making.
Importantly, Slingshot is not only providing foundational tracking data but is also building the user interface and analytics layer for TraCSS. This places the company at the heart of how space situational awareness data is visualized, fused, and acted upon by civil stakeholders.
For investors, this is a key validation of Slingshot’s long-term vision: to become the digital backbone of orbital safety, with expanding roles in both U.S. and allied space traffic management systems.
We’re excited to see Slingshot continue to lead in building a safer, more coordinated orbital future.
