Albert contributes to Americas and Europe firm efforts in various activities related to portfolio companies value add activities, dealflow generation and assisting capital raising efforts. Albert is an accomplished, cross-functional, strategic executive with significant commercial and operating experience across several industries, geographies and functions (within global corporations, Venture Capital and Private Equity).

Albert’s passion for start-ups and the innovation they bring culminated in the founding of his own venture endeavor in 2014 called B612 Capital, a San Diego based firm providing support, mentoring and funding to early stage, California companies. He also currently serves on the Board of a Silicon Photonics startup in San Diego called Axalume and is an Advisor at Nex Cubed. His enterprise and industrial background has included leadership roles at Schneider Electric, InnoVista Sensors, Kavlico as well as Custom Sensors & Technologies (the three latter firms having also been Schneider Electric entities that were later spun off).

Albert earned his MS in Management Science & Engineering from Barcelona Tech, Spain. He’s continued his executive education by completing an Advanced Management Program from IESE Business School as well as various Executive Programs through Harvard and Berkeley.

Albert has lived in Barcelona (Spain), Paris (France), Dallas (Texas). He currently resides in San Diego (California), though you can find him often in Bay Area and Los Angeles.
