Andy Bair brings a unique background that combines 30 years of government service with investment and risk management. Andy spent the first half of his career in senior positions in the State Department, the United Nations, and the U.S. national security community, and the second half of his career in private equity, venture capital, and corporate development. Andy has successfully run two startups, and he previously worked with Torch Hill Investment Partners where he served as an operating partner and CEO of one of the portfolio companies. At Sway, Andy manages the Washington DC office, and he leads the firm’s investments in aerospace, defense, and government technology initiatives.

Andy holds a MA in security policy studies from The George Washington University, a BA in political science from Southern Methodist University and a certificate in international finance from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
