Marston drives due diligence, portfolio analytics, and internal process, among fundraising, sourcing, and portfolio support activities. Previously, he was an angel investor with Fortem Capital, focused on sourcing pre-seed and seed investments in the Software and Consumer industries. Prior to angel investing, Marston spent several years advising software clients while an investment banker with Goldman Sachs (sale of Apttus to Thoma Bravo, sale of Clearwater Analytics to Permira, Warburg Pincus, Dragoneer, and Durable). Before investment banking, Marston worked in real estate private equity, where he helped scale the portfolio from 300 to 1,550 homes before its sale to Cerberus.

Marston holds a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MS (Hons) in Finance from London Business School.
